I saw that we added this series and was going to find out more information when I got home. I like playing UNC but wish the series was closer together rather than so spread apart. Still exciting!

That’s a great series to get. Very happy with this. ACC opponenet, close game to travel to, border state. It seems like a win/win.

Here’s how overall scheduling looks so far.....

ACC - 7 Teams
Cuse, UVa, VT, WF, UNC, Duke, NC State

C-USA - 7 Teams
MTSU, FIU, S. Miss, ODU, UAB, N Tx, Marshall

Sunbelt - 5 Teams
Louisiana, La. Monroe, Troy, CCU, Ga. So.

Indy - 4 Teams
NMSU, UMass, BYU, Army

MAC - 3 Teams
Buffalo, BG, Ball St.

SEC - 2 Teams
Ole’ Miss, Auburn

Big 10 - Rutgers

MWC - New Mexico

I am surprised there are no AAC teams, especially with ECU, Navy, and Temple being in the region. I’d also expect to see more Florida and Texas schools for recruiting purposes.

The Texas & Florida schools are attractive to nearly everyone so they are tougher to get dates on the schedule.

That's true but there are also about 12 Texas FBS schools and seven Florida schools. We have significant alumni groups from those regions. What was our attendance that we brought to the SMU game a few years back? Does anyone know? The Baylor game was the season opener so it would have been high regardless.

Yes everyone want to play in FL and TX. But the thing we should have going for us, right now at least, is most teams count us as an easy FBS win. I can see us as a bunch of team’s easy homecoming game.

How often do you think Liberty reaches out to South Bend seeking a game?
