I want to believe in Wes Miller but he didn’t have his guys ready to play tonight and didn’t recognize when things were falling apart until it was too late.

You have to able to have that gut feeling on when momentum is lost and things are about to slip away.

Every game there's something we have to overcome just to stay even. Scoring droughts, three point shooting, free throws or turnovers. This game is turnovers - 14 in the first half and Thomas has four of them. The point guard has to take care of the ball. Also, when he goes inside and it's not a clear lane he gets crushed. He doesn't have the overall skill set and body type for the B12 IMO. As I've been saying for the past several games, how Jizzle and Reynolds aren't getting more minutes is beyond me. If Vik starts in the second half...

be interesting to find out what illness that Lakhin had a week or so ago because he has been mostly non productive since. Is it mononucleosis? He has zero energy the past few games.

I am really concerned that this team has played from behind in almost every conference games. Even in the wins UC hasn’t controlled the game at all. While UC is 4-6 right now that record could be 1-9 or 2-8 if we are being honest.

Cats might come back to win tonight but there is a lot to examine in the big view regarding this staff and program. Wes needs to figure out how to correct the things he doesn’t do well and find players and coaches that fill in those gaps without sacrificing the things he is doing well.
